Flare is a location-based chat app that lets you create and join temporary chatrooms tied to real-world locations. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
data we collect
Google account info — your name and email, used only to create your account and identify you within the app.
Location — used to show your position on the map and find nearby rooms. We store your last known location to send you relevant push notifications. We do not track your location continuously.
Messages — chat messages you send inside rooms are stored in our database and visible to other room members.
Push token — a device token used to deliver push notifications when a new room is created nearby. We do not use this for marketing.

We do not show ads.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
